We leave for Prague in approximately 160 hours. We have many questions in our minds and hearts. We have asked ourselves the following questions many times over the last several weeks. The answers have changed, but tonight we can tell you the following:
Why are we going? We want live our lives with a purpose - serving mission families overseas.
Where are we going? Aug 13: KC to Chicago to Frankfurt to Prague. We will be traveling about eighteen hours before arriving at our new home – an apartment at Čajkovského 1, Praha 3 – Žižkov. Our full postal address Čajkovského 1/1289, Praha 3, 130 00.
What are we feeling? Confident/uncertain, excited/ anxious, able/inadequate, prepared/not ready, joyful/sad, eager/whoa!
What are we going to miss? Our friends and family, but especially Steve and Kaley. We pray that our separation from our family will result in the Lord’s peace and presence filling the voids we leave.
What do we need? We need your prayers for competence and trust. We need visas to stay long-term in the Czech Republic. We need strength for the journey. We need new friends in Prague.
We want to keep in touch with all of you. Remember, we have chosen a two bedroom apartment in hopes of receiving many visitors.
