Monday Tourists

We started out on our sight seeing adventure by walking a few blocks to Tram 9 and then taking it to a stop near the Powder Gate. This is a much restored Gothic gate which is a relic of when there was a royal palace located there at the entrance to Old Town.

Phyllis is shown standing outside one of the restaurants which feature sidewalk seating. This is very popular all over Prague - not just in the tourist areas.

The picture above shows the beautiful architecture typical of many streets in Prague. This particular shot is of Celetna Street down from the Powder gate. The Powder Gate was actually the place where gun powder was stored in Prague's glorious past.
